    The CCS Companies, a Business Process Outsourcing leader with over 50 years of industry experience, is looking for a Mailroom Associate to join its dynamic team in Norwood, MA. This individual will function as a back-up driver for the mail pick-ups at the Post Offices. The Assistant will sort, open and date stamp incoming mail, pick up and process internal and external outgoing mail by department, process all undeliverable mail through our scanning technology, as well as prepare UPS and U.S.P.S. packages on a daily basis. The Norwood Mailroom Associate must have a valid MA driver’s license and be able to pass a drug screen.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Sorting and prepping consumer correspondence for scanning and/or delivery were required.
    • Scanning correspondence as required
    • Logging and tracking and delivery of Certified, Registered and Overnight Mail.
    • Daily filing of completed batches.
    • Operate various equipment and systems requiring manual and visual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
    • Assist management with various projects as necessary.
    • Contributes to the department’s operational excellence and assures that the department delivers quality services in accordance with applicable procedures, policies, and professional standards.
    • Demonstrates respect and regard for all clients, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.
    • Promotes effective working relations and works effectively both as part of the department team and cross functionally with other departments to contribute to the achievement of department/company goals and objectives.
    • Maintains work area and equipment in conditions as required by department standards.
    • Operates assigned equipment and performs all activities in a safe manner.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • 1-2 years of related work experience.
    • Good communication skills.

     

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
